What we have today is a nice Belgian blond (no “e”). It sticks pretty close to the style guides but minor quibbles that the head doesn’t linger and it’s a bit thin.
However! Let’s focus on the good parts!
I’m beginning to like the estery Belgian yeast flavors in beer now that I can do a better job of picking them out and I don’t assume it’s all banana and clove. This one in particular has a nice bubblegum/tutti fruity character to it. There’s a small bit of pepper in there as well. The cracker and white bread malt flavor is complementary along with the noble hop background.
Head is a cream color and while present not very persistent. It is a clear golden with effervescent bubbles.
It’s a very good beer and I enjoyed it quite a bit.
